About Solar Power Electrics

Solar Power Electrics Pty Ltd (SPE) was incorporated in February, 1996 as Solar Mac Pty Ltd. Name change occurred in January, 2008 to more reflect upon what we do ie., photovoltaic (PV) systems - the generation of electricty from sunlight. We turn sunlight into power.
 
SPE is a fully Australian owned company with 2 directors - Peter McPherson & Phil Redding. It is based at Molendinar on the Gold Coast of Queensland.
 
SPE is a network member of the CEC (Clean Energy Council) of Australia.
 
Peter has been involved in the PV industry since 1982 - one of the pioneers in Queensland. Vast experience of 30 years with solar water pumping, solar standalone systems & more recently with solar grid connect systems. CEC accreditation number  A3696431.
 
Phil has vast experience in the electrical industry for over 30 years.  Electrical mechanic licence #  C3592 & electrical contractor licence # 70251 (Solar Power Electrics P/L).
 
Having worked in the PV industry for so long, experience has shown, that to achieve the best outcomes & have happy customers, we only recommend the highest quality products.
 
The solar modules & inverters that we use & sell are manufactured by German companies - SOLARWORLD (solar module manufacturing facilities in Germany & the USA)  & SMA - German made inverters. German quality with German guarantees.
